The inspiration behind our

Integrative Cancer Nutrition Program

About Our Integrative Cancer Nutrition Program

This program began with a son, a mother, and a question no one could fully answer.

When Andy Spyrow was diagnosed with glioblastoma, his family did what families do — they fought for him with everything they had, navigating treatments at some of the country's most respected medical institutions. But somewhere along that journey, his mother Flo noticed something missing. Amid the scans, the protocols, and the careful coordination of care, there was a quiet but consequential gap: nutrition. No one was helping Andy eat in a way that supported his body through what it was enduring. And if that support was missing there, at the best of the best, Flo realized it was almost certainly missing for countless others.

The Integrative Cancer Nutrition Program was born from that gap — and from a mother's determination that no other family should have to face it alone.

Our program is educational in nature. We do not diagnose, treat, or prescribe, and nothing we share is a substitute for the medical guidance of your oncology team. Instead, we offer knowledge — grounded in current research in nutrition and integrative medicine — so that patients, families, and caregivers can make informed, confident choices about food and nourishment during a time when clear information is hard to come by.

Our approach is integrative, meaning the education we provide is designed to complement conventional cancer care, never replace it. We share evidence-based guidance on managing common treatment side effects like nausea; understanding supplement safety and potential interactions; and building sustainable, nourishing eating patterns throughout the journey with cancer. We also recognize that food is more than fuel — it is comfort, culture, and connection — so our teaching honors the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

Whether you are newly diagnosed, mid-treatment, or focused on long-term recovery, our purpose is the same: to help you feel more informed, more supported, and less alone. Andy's story is the reason this program exists. Your story is the reason it continues.

We would be honored to walk alongside you.
